How organisations use the maps

Policy and monitoring
Boards need to see where heat, green space or energy targets lag. Maps and indicators make progress measurable without scattered spreadsheets.
Permits and assessment
Environmental agencies and municipalities back applications with current layers: asbestos, species, solar potential or water. Less switching between systems.
Participation and presentation
Resident evenings and council sessions need clear visuals. Same data as in policy, readable for non-GIS users — live or online.
Area and property plans
Housing associations, developers and business parks plan renovations or shared energy. Location risks and opportunities on the map first, then in the plan.
