BRT
The BRT (Basisregistratie Topografie — Key Register Topography) is the Dutch national topographic base map at scales from 1:10,000 to 1:250,000. It includes roads, water, buildings, rail, terrain, and contours in a simplified, harmonized view.
The BRT is intended as a consistent backdrop for maps, atlases, and web viewers. Available via PDOK and the Nationaal Georegister; in GeoApps often as a base map under thematic layers.
The BRT is not large-scale BGT (less detail, different scale) or an orthophoto. It bridges detailed municipal work and national overview maps.
