PDOK
PDOK (Publieke Dienstverlening Op de Kaart — Public Services On the Map) is the central Dutch platform for distributing government geodata via standard web services and downloads. It connects sources such as Kadaster and municipalities with users in GIS, web maps, and apps.
Key services: Location Server (BAG addresses and geocoding), topography (BGT, BRT), orthophoto, cadastre (BRK), and many thematic layers as WMS and WFS. GeoApps and other platforms link directly to PDOK URLs.
PDOK is not a software product or a single dataset: it is distribution infrastructure. Data ownership stays with source holders; PDOK ensures availability, APIs, and often caching.
