One shared 3D reality for integrated spatial governance.
With TransitionTwin3D you bring GIS, BIM and participation into the same interactive 3D context: compare scenarios, see bottlenecks and opportunities, and collect feedback where decisions are made — online and during TouchTable sessions.
Plan a callTransitionTwin3D was selected in the Innovation Impact Challenge by RVO for independent development of spatial IX innovation. A working prototype was validated in phase 1 within a municipal heat transition project. In phase 2, we are looking for municipalities to run practical cases on current spatial challenges together with us.

We use the same 3D case online and in the room around the TouchTable; our blog has more on the Innovation Impact Challenge.

Dutch cities are working on multiple transitions at once, competing for the same space. Plans are still often developed per sector and communicated separately, which increases complexity, slows decision-making and raises resistance risk.
The solution
Within the IIC Challenge, we develop TransitionTwin3D as a shared 3D decision-making environment for spatial transitions. Alternatives are directly comparable and impact on space, surroundings and policy becomes visible. Changes can be made in real time for explainable decisions.
Immerse in a 3D environment
One shared spatial simulation brings ideas and perspectives to life so discussions happen around the same reality. Is that transformer station really that large? Where is room for charging points? How do we keep neighborhoods attractive and sustainable?
3D models and IX layer: partnership with Innobrix
Within TransitionTwin3D we combine two specialisms in one workflow. Innobrix delivers the 3D models and spatial modelling. PraatMee (MapGear B.V.) delivers the participation use case and the IX layer through TouchTable.
Design variants, resident input and governance trade-offs no longer need translating across separate tools.

An approach everyone understands
Stakeholders can clearly see future scenarios, walk through the online environment and leave feedback. The same conversation can also happen during physical participation evenings around the TouchTable.
Who is it for?
For municipalities and grid operators that want stronger governance over spatial transitions. For partnerships aiming to break fragmentation. For organizations that take participation seriously and want policy decisions backed by evidence.
