- What is the difference between Heat Insight and the Climate Adaptation Monitor?
- The Climate Adaptation Monitor combines several risks (heat, drought, water). Heat Insight goes deeper on heat: heat islands, vulnerable groups, cool spots and the effect of measures. Ideal when heat is a priority in your municipality and you want to underpin targeted cooling and greening strategies.
- Which heat measures are included in the maps?
- We map existing green, water, shade and paving and model the effect of extra greening, water and shade. That shows where interventions have the greatest effect on temperature and perception.
- Is the heat data real-time or periodic?
- We work with periodic updates (including satellite and weather data) for stable maps and trends. For acute heat alerts you can additionally connect to live weather services; we are happy to advise on that integration.
- Can Heat Insight connect to our GIS or reports?
- Yes. API and export to GeoJSON, WMS and common GIS formats are available. Integration with ArcGIS, QGIS and municipal climate systems is possible.
